A Intensive Training for Parent Partners involved in providing peer support to Parents & Caregivers.

Work on refining and shaping Parent Partner muscles, skills, tools and techniques with this comprehensive workshop. Four trainers will work intensively with participants, using a unique 'circuit training' approach. Participants will be divided into one of four learning groups that they will train with during the course of the two day boot camp. Four trainers will present 28 different workshops during the two days. Each learning group will be exposed to a unique set of workshops with exposure in every circuit. Each learning group will be responsible for summarizing key points from their unique set of workshops at the end of the second day. This training is designed specifically for individuals who are employed to provide peer support because of their personal experience receiving or seeking services on behalf of a loved one.
